الضوابط العامة وإجراءات النشر:

1. تنشر المجلة البحوث التي لم يسبق نشرها، بالعربية أو بالإنجليزية، في حقل تاريخ الجزيرة العربية وحضارتها.
2. أن تتسم البحوث بالموضوعية والتنظيم المترابط وعدم استخدام الضمائر الشخصية قدر المستطاع.
3. الالتزام بالمنهج العلمي وتوخي الجدة والأصالة في الكتابة وسلامة الأسلوب وتنظيم الحقائق والأفكار.
4. التقيد بأصول البحث العلمي بعرض الحقائق وتقدير وجهات نظر الآخرين.
5. التقيد بالأمانة العلمية وألا يحتوي البحث على أي سرقة علمية أو انتهاك للملكية الفكرية.
6. دعم الموضوع بالصور والخرائط والوثائق كلما أمكن ذلك.
7. ضبط أسماء المواقع والأعلام بدقة والتعريف بها وتوثيقها في الهامش.
8. منهج التوثيق المعتمد في المجلة هو نظام جمعية علم النفس الأمريكية ((APA، ويشمل ذلك التوثيق داخل النص وفي قائمة المصادر والمراجع.
9. لايتجاوز عدد كلمات البحث (10 آلاف كلمة) بما فيها الملخصين العربي والإنجليزي، والكلمات المفتاحية، وقائمة المصادر والمراجع، والملاحق.
10. يرفق مع العمل ملخص باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية في حدود (200) كلمة.
11. يتضمن ملخص البحث (5 كلمات مفتاحية) تعبر عن موضوع البحث والقضايا الرئيسة التي تناولها.
12. تكتب بيانات الباحث/الباحثين (الاسم، الرتبة العلمية، التخصص، المؤسسة التعليمية، عنوان المراسلة، البريد الإلكتروني، ورقم الجوال) باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية.
13. لا يجوز أن يُصرَّح باسم الباحث/الباحثين في متن البحث أو هوامشه.
14. يعد إرسال الباحث بحثه تعهدًا منه بأن البحث لم يسبق نشره، وأنه لم يقدم للنشر في جهة أخرى حتى تنتهي إجراءات تحكيمه في المجلة.
15. تقوم هيئة التحرير بفحص أولي للأبحاث لتقرير مدى صلاحيتها لاستكمال إجراءات التحكيم.
16. تخضع جميع الأبحاث بعد إجازتها الأولية من هيئة التحرير للتحكيم العلمي على نحو سري مزدوج.
17. يرسل البحث إلى اثنين من المحكمين المتخصصين في موضوعه فإن اختلف رأيهما، أُرسل إلى ثالث ويكون رأيه حاسمًا.
18. الأبحاث التي يشترط المحكمون قبولها بعد إجراء التعديلات عليها تعاد لأصحابها لإجراء التعديلات على ألا يتأخر الباحث في إرسال النسخة المعدلة عن أسبوعين من تاريخ الإرسال.
19. الأبحاث المقبولة للنشر في المجلة لا يجوز نشرها في أي منفذ نشر آخر، ورقي أو إلكتروني، دون أخذ موافقة خطية من رئيس هيئة التحرير.

اللغة والأسلوب:

1. التقيد بالأسلوب العلمي (عرضًا وتوثيقًا) بعيدًا عن العاطفة والإطناب الممل أو الإيجاز المخل.
2. اعتماد الوضوح وتحري الدقة والصياغة الجيدة للأفكار والمفاهيم.
3. معالجة الموضوعات وعناصرها بصورة تتسم بالتغطية الشاملة.
4. العمل على التناسب والتوازن بين عناصر الموضوع.
5. مراعاة أصول التحرير العلمي من سلامة اللغة وقواعد الإملاء وعلامات الترقيم والتنقيط.

تنسيق الصفحات:

1. حجم الصفحة A4.
2. هوامش الصفحة: (2.5 سم) لليمن واليسار و(3.5سم) من أعلى الصفحة وأسفلها.
3. حجم الخط للمتن (18) بخط Traditional Arabic  
4. حجم الخط للعناوين (18) بخط ثقيل Traditional Arabic
5. حجم الخط لعناوين الأشكال والجداول والصور (14) بخط ثقيل Traditional Arabic
6. حجم الخط للتعليقات (14) بخط Traditional Arabic
7. حجم الخط لمحتوى الجداول (14) بخط Traditional Arabic
8. حجم الخط للمتن بلغة غير عربية (12) بخط Times New Roman

آلية إرسال الأبحاث:

• ترسل الأبحاث إلى البريد الإلكتروني للمجلة (shcajournal@ksu.edu.sa) بعد التأكد من التقيّد بشروط تسليم البحث وضوابط تحريره.
• أوقات العمل: تعمل المجلة على استقبال البحوث العلمية على مدار العام.
• لغة النشر: تستقبل المجلة الأبحاث المكتوبة باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية، مع وجوب الالتزام بسلامة اللغة والصياغة.

إرشادات التقديم:

• يتم إرسال نسختان من البحث العلمي، واحدة بصيغة (Word) وأخرى بصيغة (Pdf). 
• تضمين البريد الإلكتروني بالمرفقات الآتية:

1. خطاب موجه إلى رئيس هيئة تحرير المجلة ويتضمن أهمية البحث وفرضيته وارتباطه بأهداف المجلة ورؤيتها.
2. ملخص للبحث العلمي بكل من اللغة العربية واللغة الإنجليزية في حدود (200) كلمة، مضمنًا (5) كلمات مفتاحية.
3. السيرة الذاتية للباحث الرئيس وللباحث المشارك (إن وجد). 
4. نموذج إقرار نشر بحث بعد تعبئته واعتماده، وفي حال وجود أكثر من باحث، يقوم كل باحث بتعبئة الإقرار واعتماده منفردًا.

Publication Regulations & Procedures

The journal publishes only original research articles (which has never been published) in Arabic or English in the Field of the history of the Arabian Peninsula and its civilization.

Research should be characterized by objective, connected organized, and avoiding use personal pronouns as much as possible.

Commitment to the scientific method, originality in writing, Being proficient in language and writing style, and organizing the facts and ideas.

Compliance with the origins of scientific research  in presenting the facts and value others' perspectives

The manuscript must be free from any sort of plagiarism, patch writing, or intellectual property violations.

Placed the picture, maps, document in the research as much as possible.

Name and introduce the places' names and the people's names accurately, and referring them to the suitable sources and references.

The official citation format system used by the journal is the ABA. ABA should be used both for in-text citations and the reference list.

Manuscripts should not exceed a maximum of 10.000 words, including the abstracts (both in Arabic and English), keywords, references, and appendices. 

Each manuscript must be accompanied by two versions of the abstract, one in Arabic and one in English. Each should be within 200 words.

Each abstract must be preceded by no more than 6 keywords that represent the major topics and the manuscript addresses. 

The author(s) must provide the following information both in Arabic and English: name, occupation, specialization, affiliation (e.g., department/center, college, and university), address, email, and phone number).

The author's or authors' name(s) or any indication of their identity must not be mentioned implicitly or explicitly anywhere in the body of the manuscript instead. 

Submitting the manuscript to the journal is to be considered a pledge that the submitted manuscript has not been previously published, is not currently under consideration for publication at another journal, conference proceedings, or similar publication, and will not be submitted elsewhere while it is under consideration at the Journal of Studies in the History and Civilization of Arabia.

The editorial board have the right to run an initial review ensuring the manuscript follows publication regulations.

All manuscripts considered for publication must undergo a double-blind peer review in which the author's or authors' names are not revealed to the referees/reviewers and vice versa.

Each manuscript must be reviewed by no less than two referees. If two
 referees have different recommendations, a third referee will be assigned, and their recommendation will determine the final decision.

If the referees recommend that a manuscript be revised, the author(s) will be asked to revise and resubmit no longer than 2 weeks.

Once a manuscript is accepted for publication by the Journal of Studies in the History and Civilization of Arabia it cannot be published elsewhere, either electronically or in print, without a written consent from the editor-in-chief.

Language and Style

Compliance with the scientific method by avoiding the passion, redundant and concise.

Adopting the clarity, accurate and well formed the ideas and concepts are required.

The issues should be addressed  in comprehensive approach.

Working on achieving the balance and proportion between the elements of the subject.

Taking into account the principle of scientific editing (the validity of the language, orthography and punctuation).

Manuscript style and format

Page size: A4

Margins: (2.5 cm) at the left and right sides of each page, and (3.5 cm) at the top and bottom sides of each page.

Use uniform font for the text (Traditional Arabic, 18 points).

Use uniform font for the title (Traditional Arabic, 18 points, bold).

Use uniform font for the title of figures, images and tables (Traditional Arabic, 14 points, bold).

Use uniform font for the comments (Traditional Arabic, 14 points).

Use uniform font in the tables (Traditional Arabic, 14 points).

Use uniform font for the English text (Times New Roman, 12 points).

Use uniform font for the margins in English (Times New Roman, 10 points).
